1. The 10 Worst Northeast Wisconsin Corporations Of 2004: Continuing what has become an annual tradition inspired by Multinational Monitor, I present a list of the 10 worst northeast Wisconsin corporations of 2004 (with illustrations this year): http://www.tonypalmeri.com/worstof2004.htm

2. Censored In 2004, Part I: The January Media Rant also has illustrations: http://www.tonypalmeri.com/mediarants34.htm

3. Guantanamo Torture: A report in today's New York Times on torture at Guantanamo is truly disturbing. Some detainees were actually forced to listen to Lil' Kim, Rage Against the Machine, and Eminem. http://www.tonypalmeri.com/torture.htm

4. A Neuharth Says Bring The Troops Home: World War II veteran and USA Today founder Al Neuharth unleashed some controversy recently when he wrote in the pages of the McPaper: " 'Support Our Troops' is a wonderful patriotic slogan. But the best way to support troops thrust by unwise commanders in chief into ill-advised adventures like Vietnam and Iraq is to bring them home. Sooner rather than later. That should be our New Year's resolution." Here's the column in its entirety: http://www.usatoday.com/news/opinion/columnist/neuharth/2004-12-22-holidays-troops_x.htm

Editor and Publisher summarized some of the responses to Neuharth: http://www.editorandpublisher.com/eandp/news/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1000742016

5. Martha Calls For Prison Reform: See especially the second paragraph of Martha's Christmas message http://www.marthatalks.com/
